The non-vintage Lustau Palo Cortado Península Reserva is a mind-blowing sherry. Like all Lustau sherry with the exception of Eastern India, it is made from the Palomino varieties. The wine comes from 30-year-old barrels. This Lustau is a dry, intense sherry and offers incredibly complex nutty aromas, and it represents a style that falls between the Amontillado and the heavier Oloroso. This sherry has received no less than 96 Parker points and falls in the absolute honorary division but is still very acceptable in terms of price.
