Valdespino’s Manzanilla Deliciosa en Rama comes from the annual bottling from the winery at Calle Misericordia in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Primavera means ‘spring’ in Spanish refering to moment of the ‘saca’; the moment the Sherry has been drawn from the barrels.
This Manzanilla matured under the typical flor from Sanlúcar for about six years. When bottled, it has only been very lightly filtered trying to capture as much from the original flavour. Resulting in a more intense, complex and deep Sherry than the regular Manzanilla.
The Valdespino Deliciosa is elegant, powerful, balanced and intense with the significant nose and an impression of the taste of the sea.
Of this Deliciosa en Rama, only 7,000 bottles of 375 milliliters were bottled in March / April 2019.
