Bodegas Valdespino, established in 1430, is one of Jerez’s oldest sherry producers, renowned for its commitment to traditional methods. Now part of Grupo Estévez, Valdespino maintains its legacy through practices like fermenting wines in oak barrels and aging them extensively.

The bodega’s prized vineyards in Macharnudo Alto, characterized by albariza soils, contribute to the distinctive minerality of its sherries. Notable expressions include the single-vineyard Fino “Inocente,” aged under flor for about 10 years, and the Amontillado “Tío Diego,” which transitions from biological to oxidative aging.
